DARKTHRONE: in uscita un tributo alla band norvegese
A Tribute to Darkthrone è l’ultimo appuntamento della serie di tributi internazionali di Antichrist Magazine, che riunisce 16 band underground provenienti da Stati Uniti, Polonia, Brasile, Svezia, Regno Unito, Finlandia, Germania, Austria e Scozia per onorare una delle band più influenti e intransigenti del black metal.
Questa compilation, che ripercorre la carriera dei Darkthrone da Cromlech e In the Shadow of the Horns a Transilvanian Hunger, Quintessence, Too Old Too Cold, Circle the Wagons e Leave No Cross Unturned, offre interpretazioni personali piuttosto che copie carbone degli originali. Ogni band partecipante ha affrontato i brani con rispetto per la fonte, aggiungendo al contempo la propria identità.
