PRETENDERS: annunciato il nuovo disco ‘Relentless’, ascolta ‘Let The Sun Come In’
La storica band pop rock dei Pretenders ha annunciato il nuovo, dodicesimo album in studio ‘Relentless’, che sarà immesso nel mercato il prossimo 1 Settembre 2023 da Rhino Records.
La band capitanata da Chrissie Hynde (nella foto sopra) ha rilasciato già il primo singolo estratto, ‘Let The Sun Come In’, che potete gustarvi in streaming qui sotto.
‘Relentless’ è stato prodotto da David Wrench ai Battery Studios di Willesden, Londra. Il nuovo disco dei Pretenders presenta il chitarrista James Walbourne, che ha anche suonato nell’album ‘Hate for Sale’ del 2020. A Hynde e Walbourne si uniscono il batterista Kris Sonne, il bassista Dave Page, il tastierista e chitarrista Carwyn Ellis e il contrabbassista Chris Hill. Il brano di chiusura ‘I Think About You Daily’ include anche una sezione di archi arrangiata e diretta dai Radiohead e Jonny Greenwood degli Smile, eseguita da 12 Ensemble.
